　 During the period of the war against Japan Taishan youths sojourning in America studied aviation enthusiastically.There were many people returning motherland to participate in Anti-Japanese War.They even sacrificed their lifes.Therefore, comrade Meng Li,aviation union's director and advisor in Guangdong acclaimed Taishan as " Home of Aviation ". In 1937, Anti-Japanese War broke out, the overseas Chinese in whole world were concerned for the motherland's safety.They resisted against Japan actively and participated the national salvation movement. For example, Ruan Ben Wan donated 300,000 dollars himself,and raised more than 5 million U.S. dollars to buy the planes to support the resistance war.
