North Taishan Industrial Zone is the most forward area of Taishan City facing the Pearl River Delta Area. It has perfect infrastructure, strategic traffic environment, abundant lands and water resources, and excellent industrial development foundation. This Zone is planned to be the processing production industrial center of mechanic、hardware、electronics and appliances.
  (1) Location: North Taishan Industrial Zone, with the total planning area of 62 square kilometer, is located in the north of Taishan city proper. It starts from Gongyi Port in the north, connects the North Out-Ring Road of Taishan city proper to the south, reaches Xintai Expressway to the east and Gaotong line, a provincial road, to the west, and strides across the towns of Taicheng, Shuibu and Dajiang. In the zone, there are totally three main roads from south to north. The 273 provincial road (Gaotong line) and Xintai expressway, which have been constructed, are dispersed on both sides and the planning new Gaotong line located in the middle as the central line. Through these three roads, the zone could be conveniently connected with outside traffic networks, such as Gongyi Port, Fokai Expressway, the 325 national road, Taishan Port (50km away), Jiangmen Port (65km away) and West Coastal Expressway (40km away).
  (2) Lands Use: The investment cost (for lands use price) is very low because the zone contains few cultivated area, most of them are little hills and the land base is good. Recently, its developed area is of 7400 mu and it has taken shape with mechanic, hardware, electronics and appliances industries.
  (3) Infrastructure: The road structured in the zone are going to be perfect after the complement of the change of Gaotong line's course and the construction of several main roads from east to west. It is very convenient and faster to connect with outside of Taishan.
Furthermore, there are abundant water and power supplies in the zone as well as the perfect international telecom.
  Since the North Taishan Industrial Zone base on Taishan City proper, Shuibu town and Dajiang town, it is abundant in human resources and necessary facilities of living, entertainment and commerce. And all these advantages are convenient for sharing between invested enterprises and lowing down the investment cost.
